The south of Colombia has been a zone of internal conflict, civil wars, and confrontations between armed groups and the army. A forgotten and abandoned area where machism and domestic violence are a daily occurrence. These women decide to leave their jobs in illicit crops or abandon their husbands and children, or simply violence forces them to look for another land and opportunity.

Coffee has given these women the opportunity to find a life, a future and a relief to their needs to survive and to feed their families.
