Description
Chelchele washing station was established in 2014 and is located in one of the top-quality coffee growing regions in the Gedeb district. Around 700-800 farmers supply their coffee cherries to this wash station travelling from around 3km radius.
Chelchele washing station provides different incentives like premium price, credit service to farmers so that to receive best quality cherries. The company also provides training to farmers to enhance the quality and productivity of coffee. The average farm size in this area is 1.5 hectares.
Cup Profile: Chocolate and berry aroma. Notes of bakers chocolate, cranberry, blueberry and citrus clementine. Soft acidity, juicy body with a clean aftertaste.
